Local Umbria What's On: Christmas Events & Fairs The Biggest Christmas Tree in the World From: Monday 7 December 2009 To: Sunday 10 January 2010 Started on the 7th December 1980, members of the community put together some 400 metres of lights in the shape of a Christmas Tree from the base of Mount Igino to the Basilica of San Ubaldo, the Patron Saint of Gubbio. The tree can be seen from the mountains of Umbertide and from Perugia. A cable cart can be riden along the shape of the tree to its peak. More Info...
